Forum officials rolled out its new sales pitch to prospective businesses on its newly redesigned website. The Portage-based economic development agency, which serves the seven-county Northwest Indiana Region, launched the remade nwiforum.org.
“We are excited about our redesigned launch and the robust content it provides for our investors, partners and visitors to better understand Northwest Indiana and the Forum,” Northwest Indiana Forum President and Chief Executive Officer Heather Ennis said. “We believe that this new site will allow our visitors to have a very informative experience as we continue to grow and increase our market presence."
The website presents a plethora of information about Northwest Indiana for business owners, entrepreneurs and site selectors. The Northwest Indiana Forum, which bills itself as “the voice for Northwest Indiana business,” touts data about the Region’s business climate, demographics, workforce and educational attainment.
The Northwest Indiana Forum’s revamped website outlines resources and incentives for businesses, and includes a geographic information system so prospective companies can search for available properties.
Valparaiso-based WeCreate Media designed the website, which is optimized for mobile and tablet users and features striking images by outdoor photographer Pete Doherty that highlights the lakefront, transportation and quality of life.
“Investors and partners of the Northwest Indiana Forum will find useful information on meeting times, events and presentations,” the NWI Forum said in a press release. “Visitors can find out more information on the Northwest Indiana Regional Economic Development Playbook process and be able to engage in future online surveys or other information gathering opportunities.”
